Giving kudos to my FASTer Way coach Tracy Carey. I joined in January after one of the most surreal years ever. A year that involved a lot of self-medicating with food. And I know I’m not the only one to say that. I know that being accountable for what I eat is a key factor to taking care of myself. Tracy was always there for me when I had questions. She has been a cheerleader for all her FASTer Way followers and definitely an inspiration. And BTW — I have dropped 15 pounds since I started the program. It works & I really love the concept of intermittent fasting. It’s been a huge mindset that I will totally stand behind. Tracy walks the walk & talks the talk.

I used to belong to boutique gyms. Spin studios, TRX, HIIT classes. I loved it. I went approximately 5 days a week. I tried a 12-week workout challenge. I never saw any physical change in my body composition. I knew it was my diet that needed to change. Fast forward, joining The FASTer Way was finally that community that incorporated both the physical work and the dietary work necessary to see change. Figuring out how to track macronutrients was scary at first, but once I realized what was going on it became a game to me. Tracy has been incredible in this journey. Encouraging, supportive, and informative.

There’s always a moment, when you know you need to make a change in your life/health. Whether you see yourself in a picture and wonder ‘when did THIS happen,’ your favorite jeans no longer fit, an activity that you can no longer do, or in my case you tear a 7-inch hole in your scrub pants while working and SOMEONE ELSE points it out to you. BEYOND MORTIFIED!!! That was my moment, I knew I had to I make some big changes. I was the heaviest I had ever been. I no longer wanted to be in any pictures. I no longer loved to run. I had zero energy. I wanted nothing to do with my physical appearance. And I wondered how my husband still thought I was attractive. I had a girlfriend who started a new program and had great success; not only physically, but psychologically and I needed some of that. May 10th I stated my journey with FASTer Way to Fat Loss. Within the first two weeks I was intermittent fasting 15 hours a day, I was tracking all my food in MyFitnessPal, which I swore I would never do, getting 4-5 workouts in a week, sleeping no less than 8 hours a night, feeling GREAT, life was grand!!! Going on 7 months now, have I been perfect??? Not even close! Have a been consistent, yes! Every day I wake up with choice, it’s hard to not choose my health.

Knowing her commitment to overall health and nutrition, I first joined the Faster Way community because I saw the results that Tracy was getting as a Faster Way client. The reason I have stuck with it is because I finally have found a lifestyle and relationship with food that I feel like I can sustain. I am a person who REALLY likes to eat, so other programs that have limited my caloric intake or number of meals I could eat each day felt like punishment. With Faster Way, I have learned how to properly fuel my body to get the most out of my workouts. I appreciate how the carb cycles change from month to month to keep my body from getting in a rut. The weekly meal guides are another benefit I have enjoyed. First of all, they are just that, guides – not strict plans that MUST be followed. Secondly, the recipes that I’ve made are so flavorful and have become family favorites. The biggest benefit I have found in Faster Way is being a part of a community. Tracy is an encouraging coach. She cultivates a safe space for her clients to learn, grow, and share our struggles and triumphs with one another. Because she is a client herself, she is able to really empathize with us while sharing strategies she’s picked up along the way. Learning the Faster Way lifestyle has really improved my relationship with food and my body.

I was very skeptical (very, very skeptical) when I started the FASTer Way. I’d never done a diet or nutrition program before. I thought I was doing all the right things to get healthy and lose weight. I was exercising regularly, training for triathlons in the summer, was counting calories and was making (what I thought were) healthy choices for nutrition. Yet, I just wasn’t seeing results. I was discouraged and resigned to never having the body I wished for. I joined FASTer Way still very much on the fence. I wasn’t sure if it would be a fit for my family and my somewhat picky 10-year-old, but figured I’d give it 100% effort for the 6-week trial and just see. Maybe I’d get a few good tips I could incorporate into my life and move on from there? I committed to the program and was absolutely amazed when I started seeing immediate results, not only in my body, but my mindset started to shift into a more positive place, my occasional acne started to clear up, and my stomach was no longer unhappy and bloated all the time. I finally felt good … physically and emotionally. After the 6-week program, I decided to stay on board and join as a VIP. I have lost inches gradually throughout my body, and for the first time since having my son a decade ago, I am finally starting to see the healthy and fit body I thought I would never be able to have again. I absolutely could not have done it without the FASTer Way and the constant encouragement and accountability from my coach Tracy!

After looking for years for help to lose weight and feel healthier, I found the FASTer Way through my sister-in-law. I was frustrated with my health and “health programs” at that point in my life and had tried too many to count. FASTer Way is the help I was searching for. I was the heaviest and unhealthiest I’d ever been. I hated the way I looked in the mirror and felt like a failure. What was wrong with me?!? Why couldn’t I lose weight and keep it off? I am now a year and a half into the FASTer Way lifestyle and the healthiest I have ever been. I love to look in the mirror and see my progress, including smaller clothes sizes and muscle definition. I have more energy now in my 40’s than I did in my 20’s and 30’s because I know how to fuel my body properly. There’s also no frustration trying to figure out when to workout and what to do. I just open my app and am guaranteed to get out of my workout whatever I put in. If I’m nursing an injury, they have modifications, and the workouts are always effective and informative. The trainers on the workout videos are knowledgeable and motivating. With the FASTer Way, you also get your own coach to help you with your journey. My coach, Tracy Carey, has been there for me every step of the way offering motivation, recipes, and tweaks to my macros (as needed). I know Tracy is there to answer my questions and concerns as they arise. Thanks to Tracy and the FASTer Way, I am now strong, confident with my body, energetic, and in the best shape of my life!

Tracy is amazing. She is so motivating and great at keeping me accountable. She is always so positive. and makes the journey fun. I am a personal trainer myself and I love having a coach. There are times I need a little extra motivation and that's where Tracy comes in, she is really good at helping me stay focused on my goals. She sends me great content every week and she is great at checking in on me if she doesn't hear from me. Tracy really does care about her clients. I am so happy to have found her.

Like many will say, it is NOT a diet but a way of eating and living that is sustainable and DOABLE. I have tried lots of different things in the past, and I always hated how restrictive they were. I wanted to be healthier and stronger but still have the freedom to have the occasional treat or drink without the guilt. Having a community that keeps me accountable but is also filled with SO much positivity has been huge for me. I have learned a lot about how much protein, fats and carbs are good for me each day, and have gained more muscle through strength training as well as more energy and confidence. Losing some inches and pounds and feeling more confident in my clothes is a bonus too! I would highly recommend Tracy as your coach. She has taught me so much these past 5 months not only about nutrition and strength training, but about having a more positive mindset and focusing on small goals and weekly wins!
